Jackie's Cadillac: 1/48th Tamiya P-51D Mustang
Here is another 1/48th scale "Gem" kit by Tamiya. Not without its faults, but typically a great build at a reasonable price.

The Original Wild One: 1/48th Tamiya F4F-4 Wildcat
The Tamiya F4F kit is reportedly still the (or one of the) best kits of the Wildcat. Low parts count, generally good fit and nice detail...

Torpedo Runner : 1/48th Monogram TBD-1 Devastator
This 1/48th Monogram TBD-1 Devastator is a very old model dating back to 1974. Surprisingly the kit is still decent enough for its age

Immortal RAF Bomber: 1/48th Tamiya Lancaster BI/BIII
Let me start off by letting you know, this is not your typical Tamiya fit kit, it requires some work. My Lancaster is the 1975 original

Twin Big Gun: 1/48th Monogram B-25H Mitchell
Another old kit that still has some merit is this 1977 1/48th Monogram B-25H Mitchell. The kit is very typical of what you can expect of Monogram products of the time, with good interior and exterior details and fine raised panel lines.

Wreaking Havoc: 1/48th AMT/ERTL A-20G Havoc
Back in the 90's we got the release of this 1/48th AMT/ERTL A-20G Havoc plus other variants such as the A-20B/C, A-20J and P-70. These were all nicely detailed kits, of an overlooked subject in 1/48th scale, with recessed panel lines and decent fit.

French Fighter Elegance: 1/48th Tamiya D.520 Dewotine
This kit is fairly simple, without a lot of parts involved, and in true Tamiya fashion, what there is, goes together very well.

Flying Tigers: 1/48th Monogram P-40C Tiger Shark
The 1/48th Monogram P-40C Tiger Shark (Revell) kit is certainly still buildable. If you don't mind the raised panel lines and can find an inexpensive one, the kit can still provide some enjoyment, however there may be better options for you.
